Camping Les Chaumes du Mont

is een aardige camping in Nolay, Côte-d'Or, gelegen aan een meer/recreatieplas. Deze terrassencamping heeft plaatsen met afbakening, zonder schaduw en met enige schaduw. We zijn hier een paar keer geweest als een soort van tussenstop. Koken hoeft niet altijd, want op de camping is een snackbar en pizzeria aanwezig. Op de camping kunt u ook terecht voor vers brood. Het is mogelijk om te internetten, want er is een wifipunt, gelijk als je het terrein van de camping oprijdt.

Het is er vaak gezellig in het dorp, je kunt er lekker eten, en als je er bent als in het dorp een de avondmarkt is dan is het lekker druk. De fonteinen op het plein, spuiten op verschillende tijden, als je er dan toevallig loopt wordt je nat. Gezellig op het terrasje zie pas de architectonische bouw, de kerk is ook een aardig bouwwerk, en het huis met de rode balken in de voorgevel valt op. Ook het kleine restaurantje dat je tegenkomt als je het dorp binnen rijdt, het is haast niet te missen, maar doe het wel anders rijd je zo de keuken in.

Histories de moeite waard

De kleine middeleeuwse stad Côte-d'Or bevolkt door meer dan 1 500 inwoners, Nolay ligt ongeveer zestig kilometer van Dijon, tussen de Hautes Côtes de Beaune en het begin van de Morvan. Hoofdstad van het kanton met het label Green Station, het is gelegen aan de rand van de Saône-et-Loire, niet ver van Beaune en de beroemde Hospices.

Gebouwd op de plaats van een Gallo-Romeinse site, wordt de gemeente Nolay genoteerd op het einde van de negende eeuw. Gearrangeerd door een kasteel na de barbaarse invasies, zou het zijn naam, volgens de legende, walnoten zeer talrijk op het grondgebied. Belangrijke commerciële stad, het staat tegenwoordig bekend om zijn toeristische activiteiten.

Bezoekers van het gebied zullen het rijke architecturale en historische erfgoed van het dorp waarderen, evenals de omringende charme. De Saint-Pierre-kapel, geklasseerd als historisch monument, dateert uit de 16e eeuw. Versierd met een hoogtepunt in het oosten van bol toegevoegd in de negentiende eeuw, was oorspronkelijk een deel van de broederschap van Onze Lieve Vrouw van de Rozenkrans en St. Joseph.

Vanaf de 15e eeuw

vindt de kerk van St. Martin plaats op de fundamenten van een oud religieus gebouw in romaanse stijl. In het bijzonder heeft het een bijna veertig meter hoge klokkentoren die twee Jacquemarts met de bijnaam Jacquot en Jacquotte ondersteunt. Gestort in 1641, werd het gedeeltelijk herbouwd in het midden van de 17e eeuw. Zijn altaarstuk uit de vijftiende eeuw maakt nu deel uit van de collecties van het Louvre-Lens.

Het monument staat op de monumentenlijst en de graanmarkt uit de 14e eeuw heeft een lauzedak en een indrukwekkende eikenhouten structuur. Zelfs vandaag de dag worden belangrijke beurzen het hele jaar door gehouden.

Wandelend door het oude centrum van Nolay vindt u diverse oude huizen van de zestiende eeuw, en de oude stenen kelder kraampjes. U kunt ook een oude art-nouveau versierde winkel of oude boerderijen bewonderen. Mis ook niet de washuizen, de kruisen of andere fonteinen die de charme van de stad maken te waarderen.

Camping Les Chaumes du Mont

is a nice campsite in Nolay, Côte-d'Or, located on a lake / recreational pond. This terraced campsite has pitches with demarcation, without shade and with some shade. We have been here a few times as a sort of stopover. You don't always have to cook, as the campsite has a snack bar and pizzeria. You can also get fresh bread at the campsite. It is possible to use the internet, as there is a wifi point just as you enter the site of the campsite.

It is often pleasant in the village, you can eat well, and when you are there when there is a night market in the village, it is nice and busy. The fountains on the square spray at different times, if you happen to walk there you will get wet. Cozy on the terrace, see the architectural construction, the church is also a nice building, and the house with the red beams in the facade stands out. Also the small restaurant that you encounter when you drive into the village, it is almost impossible to miss, but do it otherwise you will drive straight into the kitchen.

The small medieval town of Côte-d'Or populated by more than 1,500 inhabitants, Nolay is located about sixty kilometers from Dijon, between the Hautes Côtes de Beaune and the beginning of the Morvan. Capital of the canton labeled Green Station, it is located on the edge of the Saône-et-Loire, not far from Beaune and the famous Hospices.

Built on the site of a Gallo-Roman site, the commune of Nolay is noted at the end of the ninth century. From the 15th century

the Church of St. Martin has been built on the foundations of an old religious building in Romanesque style. In particular, it has a nearly forty-meter-tall bell tower that supports two Jacquemarts nicknamed Jacquot and Jacquotte. Deposited in 1641, it was partially rebuilt in the mid-17th century. His fifteenth-century altarpiece is now part of the collections of the Louvre-Lens.

The monument is a listed building and the 14th century grain market has a lauze roof and an impressive oak structure. Even today, important fairs are held all year round.

Walking through the old town of Nolay you will find several old houses of the sixteenth century, and the old stone cellar stalls. You can also admire an old art nouveau decorated shop or old farms. Do not miss to appreciate the wash houses, the crosses or other fountains that make up the charm of the city.
