We hebben er fijn gekampeerd. Camping Les Reflets du Val d'Argent in het hart van de Vogezen en in het centrum van de Elzas.
De camping profiteert van de grootste bossen van de Elzas, een van de zuiverste wateren van Frankrijk en de zuiverste lucht in de Elzas en je kunt er
heerlijk lange wandelingen maken.
We hebben op een mooie plaats gestaan, met veel ruimte om ons heen. De lokale bok, van de buren kwam regelmatig op bezoek, en moet gedacht hebben dat het hek er alleen was om de kippen bij elkaar te houden was. Op de camping kun je ook een hapje eten, of je gaat lekker lopen naar het Dorp, waar ook verschillende mogelijkheden zijn, de entourage toen wij er waren, een “Old school” Duits-interieur, maar wel gezellig.
Camping Les Reflets du Val d'Argent is door de ligging in het hart van de Elzas is ook de omgeving makkelijk bereikbaar, zoals de Berg van de Apen, de adelaarsvlieg en het kasteel van Haut-Koenigsbourg, de mijnen van Sainte-Marie aux Mines of de kathedraal van Straatsburg. Waar u zeker naar toe moet gaan is aan het stadje Riquewihr, het is echt de moeite waard. Riquewihr ligt ten noordwesten van Colmar.

Er is later altijd sprake geweest van mijndelving echter op een zeer kleine schaal. Inmiddels zijn de berghellingen weer volledig hersteld en wordt de omgeving gekenmerkt door de bebossing.

500 years ago, the great quarries came to an end. The house had been dealt with in such a way that the mountains were completely deforested and there was no more fuel to separate the silver from the stone. Later, however, mining has always occurred on a very small scale. Meanwhile, the mountain slopes have been fully restored and the area is characterized by afforestation.
Nous avons bien campé. Camping Les Reflets du Val d'Argent au coeur des Vosges et au centre de l'Alsace. Bénéficiant des plus grandes forêts d'Alsace, des eaux les plus pures de France et de l'air le plus pur d'Alsace, le site est idéal pour de longues promenades.
Nous avons été dans un endroit magnifique, avec beaucoup d'espace autour de nous. Les voisins chèvre locale est venue visiter régulièrement et a dû penser que le la clôture n'était là que pour garder les poulets ensemble.
