Het grootste deel van de campinggasten zijn kampeerders die doorreizen naar een zuidelijkere bestemming in Europa, of reizigers die juist terugkomen uit het zuiden. De camping leent zich perfect als doorreiscamping, vanwege zijn locatie zo dicht bij de doorgaande weg en niet al te ver van de Route du Soleil. Veel van die doorreizigers stoppen ook om de talloze wijnhuizen te bezoeken die de omgeving rijk is.

Most of the camping guests are campers who travel on to a more southern destination in Europe, or travelers who return from the south. The site lends itself perfectly as a stopover campsite, due to its location so close to the main road and not too far from the Route du Soleil. Many of those travelers also stop to visit the countless wineries in the area.

Beaune...

Voor de wonderlijke gebouwen is Beaune een bezoek waard. Vooral de Hospices de Beaune, een voormalig armenhospitaal, is opmerkelijk. De daken van de gebouwen zijn versierd met verschillende torentjes en de dakpannen geglazuurd en zijn gevormd in bijzondere patronen.

Beaune is worth a visit for its wonderful buildings. The Hospices de Beaune, a former poor hospital, is particularly remarkable. The roofs of the buildings are decorated with different turrets and the roof tiles are glazed and are shaped in special patterns.

Wat kun je doen in hét gebied van de Bourgondische wijnen? Wijntjes proeven natuurlijk! Vanuit de camping lopen verschillende fiets- en autoroutes langs de talloze wijnhuizen die de regio rijk is. De Route des Grands Crus is de bekendste. Deze autoroute is zo’n zestig kilometer lang en loopt van Dijon via Beaune tot aan Santenay door de zacht glooiende heuvels met hun uitgestrekte wijnvelden. Je rijdt langs pittoreske wijndorpjes met Bourgondische wijnboeren, waar je overal welkom bent voor een proeverij. En je bent er van harte welkom weet ik uit ervaring.

What can you do in the area of Burgundian wines? Tasting wines of course! Various cycling and car routes run from the campsite along the numerous wineries in the region. The Route des Grands Crus is the best known. This car route is about sixty kilometers long and runs from Dijon via Beaune to Santenay through the gently rolling hills with their vast vineyards. You drive along picturesque wine villages with Burgundian winegrowers, where you are welcome everywhere for a tasting. And you are very welcome, I know from experience.

Camping La Grappe d’Or in Meursault is een charme camping met zwembad gelegen op het platteland van de Bourgogne. Op de middelgrote charme camping kun je helemaal tot rust komen. De camping heeft mooie gîtes, ruime kampeerplaatsen en stacaravans te huur. Het kampeerterrein heeft plaatsen met grasland op een veldje er er zijn terrassen terrein met voldoende schaduw. Op de camping zijn honden toegestaan. Heeft u een keer geen zin om te koken dan kunt u terecht in het restaurant.

Charme camping gelegen op het platteland in de Côte-d’Or, Sfeervol kamperen op Camping La Grappe d’Or in het rustieke landschap van de Bourgogne is ideaal om dit prachtige stukje Frankrijk te ontdekken. Leuk wandelen door de kleine straatjes van Meursault of door de wijnvelden in de omgeving van de camping, maar ook naar het dorp. Daar kun je een lekker hapje eten, of een drankje voordat je weer terug naar de Camping voor een lekker relaxed momentje. Camping La Grappe d’Or is de ideale vakantiebestemming voor een actieve vakantie, cultuurliefhebbers, en wijnliefhebbers, maar vooral relaxed, Jah-Man.

Camping La Grappe d’Or is een rustige camping ten noorden van Meursault, hét centrum van de Bourgondische wijnen. Het kampeerterrein ligt midden tussen de wijnranken het uitzicht over de uitgestrekte velden is prachtig. Als doorreiscamping of als uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes naar de wijnkelders in de omgeving is deze camping ideaal. Tussen Dijon en Santenay loopt de Route des Grands Crus, een zestig kilometer lange route langs talloze wijnboeren.

De locatie van de camping, op een heuvel met uitzicht over de wijnvelden, is fantastisch. We zijn er meerdere keren voor een aantal dagen geweest, niet voor niets kampeer je in het centrum van de Bourgondische wijnen, het plaatsje Meursault. De rust zelf, ga eens lopend, (pas op bij het oversteken) door de leuke straatjes, let een op de details die er zijn op de diverse wijnhuizen, en als je van een lekker wijntje wil genieten, bezoek dan eens één van de terrasjes in de zon of schaduw voordat je het weet zit aan de wijn “Meursault” en deze drinkt lekkerweg als of een engeltje over je tong…… Als je zin of gewoon zin maakt ga dan ook Beaune bezoeken het is aan te rijden.

Camping La Grappe d'Or is a quiet campsite north of Meursault, the center of Burgundian wines. The campsite is located in the middle of the vines; the view over the vast fields is beautiful. As a transit camping site or as a base for trips to the wine cellars in the area, this camping site is ideal. The Route des Grands Crus runs between Dijon and Santenay, a sixty-kilometer route along countless wine growers.

The location of the campsite, on a hill overlooking the vineyards, is fantastic. We have been there several times for a few days, it is not for nothing that you camp in the center of Burgundian wines: the town of Meursault. The peace itself, take a walk, (be careful when crossing) through the nice streets, pay attention to the details that are available at the various wineries, and if you want to enjoy a nice wine, visit one of the terraces in the sun or shade before you know it the wine “Meursault” is drinking like an angel on your tongue …… If you feel like it or just want to go visit Beaune it is possible to drive.
